Welcome to RHC Riding Academy! |
|
The Reid family began RHC in 1985 and from the beginning, the focus has always been on sportsmanship, fun, and the love of horses.
Trainers Erin Reid and Hyun Gardner carry this proud tradition of harmony with horses. Teaching this value to our students makes them much more than riders . . . it creates horsemen and women.
RHC Riding Academy offers quality riding lessons in all disciplines for all ages and levels, excellent care for boarded horses, and individualized training programs. RHC also offers unique opportunities for showing and leasing.

About Us |
 |
|
"Let our knowledge and experience get you on the right path to happy horsemanship"
"For Pleasure . . . or for Show . . . RHC will help you achieve your goals"
"Friendly Atmosphere, Quality Horses"
"The RHC lesson program is made up of a team of beautiful and highly trained, versatile Arabian horses. This versatility enables RHC to teach all disciplines of riding, including: hunt seat, saddle seat, dressage , and western. Arabians are known for their intelligence, which makes them excellent 'baby-sitters' for those just learning .
Legend has it that in the desert when they had to leave their homes, the Bedouins would leave an Arabian mare in their tent to watch over the children. That kind and gentle personality is evident in the lesson horses of RHC." |

About Debra Reid, Barn Manager |
 |
Born and raised in Shelbyville, KY, Debra has loved horses her entire life. Her grandfather trained horses for farm work with the help of her father. In 1985 her dream of a breeding and boarding facility came true while living in Southern California. As Owner/Manager of RHC, Debra managed as many as 70 horses at one time. Her move to Kentucky in 1992 then a move to Pennsylvania in 1997 has given her many opportunities to share with others her talents, abilities, love and care of horses. In the fall of 2005, she and her "family" of horses once again returned home to Shelby County, Kentucky. |
